MicroRobots

Over the past 20 years, MicroPropulsion's co-founders have developed microrobot technologies ranging from ultrasonic motors and piezoelectric transformers to packaging solutions for optical switches. Recently, in collaboration with UC Berkeley, we fabricated a 10 mg solar-powered autonomous robot. In another collaboration, with SRI International, we have investigated elastomeric actuators in hopping robots. Presently, MicroPropulsion is focusing on software for intelligent control of flying robots. A few of the past projects are illustrated below.
